Scope of Works:
- Project scope included construction of noise wall in a heavily populated area, including piling, pier construction, post placement, and precast concrete panel installation.
- To construct the noise wall, extensive rock excavation is being undertaken to both bench out for pile locations and to allow for adequate clearance for precast panel installation.
- Extensive concreting works were also incorporated into the design of this wall which includes a mass concrete infill on the rear side of the wall, the construction of a 200m long V drain and the construction of approximately 65m of F type barrier.
- Major landscaping within the vicinity of the wall, including slope stabilisation.
- Construction of sandstone retaining wall, to match existing.
- Development and implementation of traffic management plan taking into consideration, bike lanes, pedestrians, and local buses.
